CSD IONAPI User Setup Guide

This guide walks you through the complete process of integrating your Infor CloudSuite environment with the Kodaris platform, enabling seamless data exchange and automated transaction processing between systems.

Prerequisites

  • Administrative access to Infor CloudSuite
  • Access to the Kodaris Operations Portal
    • In order to make the needed updates, you will need to have the role of "superuser" or the roles of "inforCSDEdit" and "settingEdit".

Phase 1: Set Up ION API User in Infor CloudSuite

Setting up the ION API user is the first step to establish secure connectivity between your Infor CloudSuite and the Kodaris platform. This configuration enables seamless data exchange and automated processes that reduce manual intervention. The process involves creating authorized applications within Infor's API gateway framework and establishing proper user credentials with appropriate security roles. By implementing this integration, organizations can leverage Kodaris capabilities to enhance their existing Infor workflows.

What's Covered

  • Create authorized apps in Infor API gateway
  • Configure backend service applications
  • Set up security users with data fabric user roles
  • Downloading and securing API credentials
  • Establish service user accounts for system integration

Phase 2: CSD Setup (CloudSuite Distribution)

The CloudSuite Distribution (CSD) setup establishes the operational framework that allows Kodaris to interact directly with your distribution system. This configuration enables Kodaris to insert transactions such as quotes and orders back into your CloudSuite Distribution environment through secure API connections. Note: Kodaris will never physically log into CSD using this operator account. It will only be used for API-based transactions.

What's Covered

  • Create SASO user/operator accounts for Kodaris integration
  • Configure admin-level permissions to enable API transactions

Phase 3: Kodaris Setup (Operations Portal)

The Kodaris setup process completes the integration by configuring the Kodaris operations portal to communicate with your Infor CloudSuite environment. This final configuration step brings together all the previously established credentials and connection parameters, enabling the platform to operate seamlessly. Once configured, Kodaris can leverage your established Infor data and processes to provide enhanced operational capabilities while maintaining consistency with your current business workflows.

What's Covered

  • Upload ION API credential file to Kodaris operations portal
  • Configure company and operator connection parameters
  • Test connectivity between Kodaris and Infor CloudSuite
  • Validate credential authentication and permissions

Setup Verification and Next Steps

Once all phases are complete, you should have:

  • Authorized API application in Infor CloudSuite
  • Downloaded API credentials
  • CSD operator account for transaction processing
  • Successful connection test in Kodaris Operations Portal

Your integration is now ready for operational use. Kodaris can now securely communicate with your Infor CloudSuite environment to exchange data and process transactions automatically.

Notes

  • Keep your downloaded API credentials in a secure location
  • Test the integration with sample transactions before full deployment
