This functionality allows users in the Operations Portal to streamline the process of training nonstock codes by setting both the product code and unit conversion simultaneously. Previously, users could only update nonstock codes with product codes from the system, requiring a separate step to manually set unit conversions in the cross reference table. This enhancement eliminates that extra step by enabling users to specify unit conversion information during the initial code training process.
The feature is accessed through line items, which opens a "Change Product" dialog. Users enter the required product code and can optionally specify a unit conversion value. When submitted, the system automatically creates a cross reference entry that includes the specified unit conversion in the "Unit Standard" field, making the workflow more efficient for automation processes.
