Operations CRM - Adjust Pricing by Line Item on a Quote

1. Navigate to "CRM"

   There are different pricing fields that you can update to adjust pricing by line item on a quote. To start, navigate to the "CRM" section in the Operations Portal.

   

2. Click "Quotes"

   Click "Quotes". In order to access Quotes, you will need to have the role of "administrator" or "superuser", or have the roles of "quoteEdit" and "accountQuoting".

   

3. Search for the quote

   Search for the quote you want to adjust pricing in the "Search..." field.

   

4. Click on the more details icon

   Click on the more details icon of the quote to view its details

   

5. Go to "Items"

   Go to the "Items" tab.

   

6. Sell Price

   To adjust the sell price, double click on the "Sell Price" field for any line item. Then, enter the new price directly and hit "Enter". This updates the sell price without affecting other pricing calculations.

   

7. Margin

   Or you can update the "Margin" field by clicking into field for the line item. Then, enter the desired margin percentage and hit "Enter". This automatically updates the "Markup" and "Sell Price" fields.

   

8. Markup

   You can also update the "Markup" field for the line item. Click into the field and enter the desired markup percentage and hit "Enter". This automatically updates the "Margin" and "Sell Price" fields.

   

9. Cost

   The "Cost" field can also be adjusted for special order items. This changes the "Margin" and "Markup" values but not the sell price.

   

10. Price Level

    You can also adjust the Price Level by clicking on the "Level" field for the line item. Then, select a different price level from the dropdown menu. Adjusting the price level will change all the pricing fields except for the cost field.
